Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms apply to the SendRight app and this website, provided by Computer Services Group ("CSG", "we"). By installing or using SendRight you agree to them on behalf of your practice.

1. The preview

SendRight is a pre-release ("preview") version. We provide it free of charge during the preview so practices can use it and tell us what to improve. Features may change, and we may end the preview, with notice, when paid plans start.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Decide whether each disclosure is allowed, under the Privacy Act 1988, any state health records laws, professional obligations and your practice's policies. SendRight protects documents in transit. It doesn't decide who may receive them.
  • Check every recipient's email address and mobile number against the patient or client file or the signed request before sending.
  • Use secure messaging instead of email where it's available and suitable.
  • Keep passwords separate from the emails that carry the files, and keep your PCs and email accounts secure.
  • Use SendRight only for lawful purposes.

3. Add-ons and other services

The SMS add-on is a paid subscription on the terms we agree with your practice. Password links use Password Pusher (or your own server), and sending through your account uses Microsoft 365 or Google under your own agreements with them.

4. Software licence

We grant your practice a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use SendRight on its computers for its own business. SendRight includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the Licences folder that comes with the app.

5. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. To the extent the law allows, the preview is provided as it is, and our liability for any failure is limited to supplying the software again or paying for it to be supplied again.

6. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how SendRight and CSG handle personal information.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update them, and will change the date above when we do. Questions: support@computer-services.com.au or (07) 5551 2333.
